You speak Portuguese, the other side reads Chinese
An audio or video call in the browser, with the caption translated as each person speaks. You pick both languages before you dial and send a link. Whoever receives it just accepts: no app to install, no account to create, nothing to configure.
How it goes in practice
- You pick Portuguese as the language you speak and Chinese as the language the other person reads.
- You send the link over WeChat, WhatsApp or email. It is an ordinary web address.
- They open it and accept. From there you speak Portuguese and they read Chinese, and the other way round too.
- When the call ends, both sides keep the transcript in both languages.
Why a call settles what messages do not
Price, lead time and minimum order usually take three days of translated email, one question per round. On a call the counter offer arrives while you are still talking, and you can point the camera at the part and ask about it. Voice also carries hesitation and emphasis, which is where a negotiation actually moves.
The link opens inside WeChat
This is the difference that usually decides it. The supplier does not leave the thread, download a new app, register or remember a password. They tap the link and the call opens in the browser WeChat already carries. On the Brazilian side the same is true inside WhatsApp.
